Ariana Grande and Josh Gad Join ‘Oh, the Places You’ll Go!’ at WB Pictures Animation

Some big names are coming along on Dr. Seuss’s big journey, as Warner Bros. Pictures Animation announces that Ariana Grande (Wicked) and Josh Gad (Frozen) have joined the cast of Oh, the Places You’ll Go! The animated feature is produced by WBPA, Dr. Seuss Enterprises and Bad Robot, and is slated to open March 17, 2028 in IMAX.

The news was revealed in a sneak peek Instagram post shared by Warner Bros.

Logline: The book is the blueprint for a globetrotting animated musical following a young adventurer as they journey through the joys and heartaches, and the peaks and valleys, of life.

Oh, the Places You’ll Go! is directed by Jon M. Chu (Wicked, In the Heights, Crazy Rich Asians) and animation veteran Jill Culton (Abominable, Open Season), from a screenplay by Rob Lieber, based on Dr. Seuss’ final book. Benj Pasek and Justin Paul are creating original songs for the big-screen adaptation. Producers are Bad Robot’s J.J. Abrams and Gregg Taylor.

It was recently announced that Grande will be starring in the next installment of Meet the Parents with Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller and will reunite with Chu this November in Wicked: For Good.

Gad’s upcoming projects include Amazon’s Spaceballs 2, which he will star and produce, Paramount’s Adulthood and Disney’s Frozen 3.
