Disney+ Sneak Peeks ‘King of the Hill’ Return in Upcoming Titles Teaser

Disney+ has released a first look at its upcoming 2025 slate of original series and returning favorites across Disney+ and Hulu, all of which can be streamed via Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers. The 60-second sizzle includes new footage of everyone’s favorite family, The Hills, in the King of the Hill Season 14 revival series, launching August 4 on Hulu.

The brief glimpse at the new King of the Hill, which picks up a couple decade after we bid vaya con Dios to the Arlen gang, opens with a front yard book burning and flips through footage of Hank (voiced by series co-creator/executive producer Mike Judge) and Bobby (Pamela Adlon), Joseph and John Redcorn, and a tender moment between Hank and Boomhauer.

Synopsis: After years working a propane job in Saudi Arabia to earn their retirement nest egg, Hank and Peggy Hill return to a changed Arlen, Texas to reconnect with old friends Dale, Boomhauer and Bill. Meanwhile, Bobby is living his dream as a chef in Dallas and enjoying his 20s with his former classmates Connie, Joseph and Chane.

The return voice cast also includes Kathy Najimy (Peggy Hill), Stephen Root (Bill Dauterive) and Lauren Tom (Minh and Connie Souphanousinphone). Toby Huss, who voiced Kahn Souphanousinphone and Cotton Hill in 164 King of the Hill episodes from 1997-2010, has been announced as the new voice of Dale Gribble, taking over from the late Johnny Hardwick after his six recorded episodes. The voice of John Redcorn, Jonathan Joss, was tragically killed earlier this year, and reportedly had also recorded lines for the new season.

The Disney+/Hulu preview also spotlights FX’s Alien: Earth (streaming August 12), All’s Fair (Fall 2025), Chad Powers (September 30), Only Murders in the Building Season 5, Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 (December 2025), The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox (August 20), Marvel Television’s Wonder Man (December 2025) and ZOMBIES 4: Dawn of the Vampires (July 11).
