A new kids’ entertainment company has launched in Global Galactics, dedicated to sparking awe and curiosity in kids ages 5-9 and led by a team of parents, educators and storytellers. “At Global Galactics, we believe awe is a superpower,” said Timothy Karsten, Co-Founder and CEO. “We’re creating stories that help kids feel wonder again — to ask questions, dream big and see themselves as part of something greater.”
To help bring its universe to life, Global Galactics has teamed up with two established family-focused firms: Kids Industries, a global family strategy and insights firm specializing in kids’ audience development and brand building, will oversee global brand strategy, positioning and audience development rooted in research and insights; and North American PR and social marketing agency Beacon Communications, known for its work with youth and family brands, will lead integrated communications across earned media, influencer marketing, social and experiential activations.
“There’s so much momentum building — it’s an incredibly exciting time for Global Galactics,” said Karinna Karsten, Co-Founder of Global Galactics. “With Beacon and Kids Industries on board, we’re set up for an extraordinary launch. Their expertise lets us build a world that truly reflects our mission — sparking awe, discovery, and connection in kids everywhere.”
The collaboration will first come to life with the debut of SparkStar, an immersive world featuring diverse characters, interactive experiences and storytelling that inspires kids to dream big. The multi-platform roll-out includes an exciting new YouTube channel and content series, books and an accompanying book tour, music, podcasts, social media, and more aimed at kids aged 5-9 and their parents.
“We’re proud to bring our expertise to support a mission that celebrates childlike wonder in such a fresh and meaningful way,” said Donna MacNeil, President of Beacon Communications. “Global Galactics spark big conversations through stories that are engaging, age-appropriate, and fun, and we’re excited to help share that discovery with families everywhere.”
Gary Pope, CEO and Co-Founder of Kids Industries, added, “Curiosity is a defining force in childhood — and Global Galactics gets that. This generation expects more from their media and so stories like these really matter — they inspire, they motivate and they ready children to explore the marvelous world around them.”
Global Galactics original IPs include series, music, books and podcasts. Family audiences can expect new content, partnerships and brand activations to roll out through 2025 and beyond.
