‘Doc McStuffins’ Is Ratings Champ for 9th Straight Week

Disney Junior’s Doc McStuffins, Jake and the Never Land Pirates and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse have emerged as the top-three preschool cable TV series for Kids 2-5 and moms for the ninth straight week. Preschool Cable TV Series in Kids 2-5 and Moms for 9th Straight Week.

For the week of August 6, 2012, Disney Junior’s Doc McStuffins on Disney Channel ranked as the #1 preschool cable TV series in Kids 2-5 (648,000/3.9 rating) and Girls 2-5 (352,000/4.3 rating) for the 9th consecutive week, with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse #1 in Boys 2-5 (319,000/3.7 rating) and Jake and the Never Land Pirates #1 in Women 18-49 (403,000/0.6 rating).

Created by Emmy-winning writer/producer Chris Nee (Little Bill, The Wonder Pets) and directed by Emmy winner Norton Virgien (Rugrats), the show is co-produced by Dublin-based Brown Bag Films. The beautifully animated show centers on a six-year-girl who heals stuffed animals and toys in her backyard clinic and has received unanimous acclaim from critics and general audiences alike.
