Planeta Jr. to Handle Four Rainbow Titles in Spain

European children’s media production and distribution company Planeta Junior has signed a deal with Italy’s Rainbow to manage the licenses in Spain for four of its key animated series, Mia and Me, Winx Club, Pop Pixie and Huntik.

Planeta Junior’s intl. sales director Diego Ibáñez, noted, “This new agreement will enable us to expand our catalogue with new properties that are sure to be a success here in Spain.” Maurizio Distefano, exec vp and general manager of Rainbow, added, “We think Planeta Junior is the ideal partner for the distribution of these properties in Spain.”
