NFB Nets 17 Canadian Screen Award Noms

The National Film Board of Canada has been showered with recognition by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television, which has announced the organization’s productions and artists have received 17 nominations for the Canadian Screen Awards.

These include nods for Luc Chamberland’s hybrid film Seth’s Dominion (Best Short Documentary Film) as well as two Best Animated Short nominees: Torill Kove’s Me and My Moulton (NFB/Mikrofilm AS) and Michele Cournoyer’s Soif (NFB/Unite Centrale).

Also nominated for the CSA in short animation is multi-technique documentary The Chaperone 3D (Fraser Munden & Neil Rathbone), and Noah’s Ark retelling Day 40 (Sol Friedman).
