Three of the presented series at the Animation Production Day — hosted by the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film and FMX — will qualify directly for participation in Cartoon Forum.
The deal is part of a new collaboration between the events designed to allow APD projects that are typically in the early stage of pitching a chance to be further developed and pitched with the more advanced development typical for Cartoon Forum.
APD is set for May 7-8 in Stuttgart, Germany, while Cartoon Forum is scheduled for Sept. 15-18 in Toulouse, France.
