GKIDS has unveiled a new English dub clip for its upcoming anime release Promare — the highly anticipated, action-packed feature film debut from Studio TRIGGER, directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi (Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill). The film will premiere with special Fathom Events screenings Sept. 17 & 19, followed by a select U.S. theatrical roll out on Sept. 20.
Synopsis: Thirty years have passed since the appearance of the Burnish, a race of flame-wielding mutant beings, who once destroyed half of the world with fire. When a new group of aggressive mutants calling themselves Mad Burnish appears, the epic battle between Galo Thymos, a new member of the anti-Burnish rescue team Burning Rescue, and Lio Fotia, the leader of Mad Burnish, begins.
