Trailer: First Look at James Cameron’s ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’

Fans will soon be whisked back to Pandora, as the trailer for the third movie in James Cameron’s blockbuster sci-fi saga Avatar: Fire and Ash sparks to screens. The next chapter in the Avatar franchise opens exclusively in theaters worldwide in IMAX 3D, Dolby Cinema 3D, RealD 3D, Cinemark XD, 4DX, ScreenX and premium screens everywhere from 20th Century Studios on December 19.

This past weekend, the trailer debuted on the big screen with The Fantastic Four: First Steps. New first-look stills at the CGI feats in store have also been released.

With Avatar: Fire and Ash, Cameron takes audiences back to Pandora in an immersive new adventure with Marine turned Na’vi leader Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), Na’vi warrior Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña) and the Sully family.

The film, which has a screenplay by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver, and a story by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver & Josh Friedman & Shane Salerno, also stars Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Oona Chaplin, Cliff Curtis, Britain Dalton, Trinity Bliss, Jack Champion, Bailey Bass and Kate Winslet.
