Disney XD announced at New York Comic-Con that it has ordered a sophomore season of the animated series Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
The second season is in production and slated to premiere in 2017.
Since debuting Sept. 26, the series has delivered solid ratings for Disney XD.
The show’s second season will see the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers team up to stop evil alien mad scientist The High Evolutionary.
