‘Ben & Holly’ Land on Canada’s Treehouse

Entertainment One’s BAFTA and Emmy award-winning preschool animation Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom will make its Canadian debut on Monday, October 4 a 8 a.m. ET/PT on leading pre-k network, Treehouse. The network — also home to eOne’s Peppa Pig — has picked up the first two seasons of the magical show.

The broadcast debut will be followed by a consumer products program in Canada, which will be managed by eOne’s New York office. Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom currently boasts over 65 international licensees, with established successful programs in the UK, Spain, Australia and Italy. Merchandise has also begun to roll-out in Greece, Russia and Latin America, where the show is quite popular.

Created by Astley Baker Davies, Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom (104 x 11 to-date) airs in over 130 countries, and follows the adventures of Holly, a young fairy princess whose magic doesn’t always go to plan; and her best friend Ben Elf, who doesn’t have wings or magical powers, but is very good at making things.
