Netflix Greenlights ‘True and the Rainbow Kingdom’ Season 3

Netflix has given third season greenlight for its colorful problem-solving kids’ animated adventure True and the Rainbow Kingdom, produced by Guru Studio in collaboration with Pharrell Williams’ i am OTHER, artist collective FriendsWithYou, and Home Plate Entertainment. The 10 x 22-min. Season 3 will debut in 2019.

“We are thrilled with the show’s incredible launch earlier this year and the audience continues to grow,” says Mary Bredin, EVP of Content & Strategy at Guru Studio. “Netflix has been a wonderful partner in bringing such a creative and imaginative series to life, and we look forward to continuing to build the True brand.”

True and the Rainbow Kingdom follows 8-year-old True and her best friend, Bartleby the cat, as they work to solve the problems of the whimsical citizens of the Rainbow Kingdom. Season 3 will offer up more delightful adventures and a new line-up of “Wishes” who help True save the day with imagination, mindfulness, reasoning and empathy.
